When you start to think about your why I suggest that you ask yourself the following questions:
Take time to review these and really think into your answers. You may need to go several layers deep rather than scratch the surface. This is like a doctor looking for the cause rather than merely taking the symptoms as being facts.
The last question you should ask is: "What is my purpose in life?"
Write down your answer and write another answer. Keep answering until you find one that makes you emotional - that is your real answer!
