One of the biggest things that hold people back from doing what they love is other people telling them that they can't! For you to maximize your potential and live a life of fulfillment you need to ignore the naysayers and believe in yourself. I will add that you need to have a degree of realism as I outline in my book, 10 Steps 2 Freedom, and choose who you listen to. You should be aligning yourself with people who are a little further along the journey that you wish to travel.

When things don't go our way we have a choice: We can be bitter, or we can be better!
When we remain bitter we are harboring resentment for the past. This could be against a person or an act, either way it will eat away at us. This resentment will prevent us from moving toward a better future as it is taking up valuable real estate in our mind that should be used by positive thoughts.
A mentor of mind describes this best when he says that resentment leads to resistance which in turn leads to revenge. I have taken time to review this in my own life and I realize that I was still harboring resentment and when I released this it felt good. Will it come back from time to time? Of course it will but I now have the awareness of the damage it does so I can release it more easily.
Learn to forgive and you will be able to use that space in your mindset to birth good things. Now is the time to move forward with your life and let the past go.
